For those of you who like the odd browse on twitter, I see that Steffen has locked his account. I really hope he hasn't been getting stick post match.

He's integral to the way we play. I would love to see him back next season.

Hopefully get him back for next season - either cut price deal (surplus at city) or another loan.

Second half of the season he has been really important. Has an error in him, but every GK does, but hes a confident bloke, and thats what you need for a keeper who is told to start off the play.

We'd be very lucky to have him back next season, I think our fans have finally seen the light with him. He's a Premier League level keeper though so I reckon our chances are slim.

I think he will leave Man City in the summer, so he won't be available for another loan move, with Man City stumpy up most of his wages.
Even if he halved his alleged wages of 80k to 40k a week, no championship side will pay that or can afford it, apart from relegated teams.
I'm not sure he would be No 1 in any premiership team, and wouldn't be happy being a number two, so that would only leave him playing abroad somewhere.

Wow What a great guy. We are lucky to have had some top people at the club this season (Lenihan, Steffen, Giles, Chuba and of course Carrick).

Came to give a little talk with the young academy goal keepers at Rockcliffe in his spare time a few weeks ago. Really humble nice guy. Spent ages answering questions, giving tips and taking photos. Hope it can somehow be arranged for him to stay on

People slated this man on the radio months back, how he was awful with fans after games and his abillity in goal.

This second half of the season he's been pivotal for us and what an absolutely excellent human being.

Fantastic to see this, I really hope we can get him back, he is indeed perfect for Carrick's style of play. His save at Gyokeres feet last night was superb as well.

He just feels like such a good fit for us now. If he stays I think he'd potentially be one of those players who becomes a bit of a club legend.

Hope we can work something out. Seems unlikely, but no-one is going to pay him what City reportedly are so if he wants a move he's going to have to take a pay cut anyway........

When I watched Burnley against us the one "weakish" link was their keeper and they were playing out from the back like us. I wouldn't be surprised to see Steffen sign for them in PL.
