Anyone Regularly Use The KLM 6am Flight to Amsterdam from Teesside Airport?

What sort of time would you recommend me to be there for the flight please? I normally try to be at an airport 2 and a half to 3 hours beforehand, but I have a feeling that'll be too early for this one?

Not flown from Teesside in donkeys' years, but when I fly back from Reus, probably my most regular airport of smaller scale, I usually arrive to check in an hour before the flight and I've never had an issue.

It was a few years back when I got the 6am flight from Teesside.
It said you had to be there 2 hours before, so got there at 4am
The KLM staff turned up about 515!
Might be different nowadays
 
Isn't international 3 hours before the flights due? For flights I've always got there early just because my anxiety is too much I'd rather get there early, have a coffee/pint/breakfast and be relaxed.

You still in charge of them North American Boro Supporters?
Any thoughts for an article in one of the upcoming Match-Day threads on how / why guys in North America still follow the Boro........and, do any of their kids? Even if they`ve never been over?

Yes I use it regularly ( I’ll be doing it again for thanksgiving) and forget the normal times (3hr before etc) because it’s Teesside we have 5 flights a day as long your there within 1hr before your flight you’ll be ok I normally get their 1 half hour before to be safe.
 
An hour before that one at 06:00 wouldn't be a problem, I'd be getting there a bit earlier normally after adding a bit of contingency time to allow my taxi to be late. If you got there 2 hours before the desk wouldn't be open.
 
Always been open at 0400 when I get there.
Flight rarely leaves on time. Usually 10 - 20 minutes late

Problem is, if you got to Teesside Airport at 3 am I doubt you'd get a pint or even a coffee, wouldn't surprise me to find the front doors locked and the lights off tbh!

I used to use it regularly, maybe once a month but before covid, never needed hold baggage and I quickly learned to rock up about an hour before takeoff, no point in being there any earlier, I lived in MSG back then so could walk to the airport in less than 20mins.
 
I flew the other week. I dropped my bag off and was in the exec lounge 10mins later. What the people are saying here, just over the hour is fine.
 
International flights are only really 2-3 hours at large airports, and even then I push it to 1hr 15-30 if travelling alone. Regional airports, I've turned up 45 mins before but you need to know when check in closes for your flight.

My favourite airport to fly from is London City - you can turn up 20 mins before your flight in theory (I do 30) and don't need to mess around with liquids - they just stay in your bags
