Even Millers fans will admit they were massively spawny in that game a few weeks ago. We were manifestly superior and they essentially scored without having a shot on target as their goal was a poorly-executed cross! With our horrendous injury situation beginning to ease, both sets of fans will probably be expecting us to comfortably exact revenge.
I don't doubt Carrick will fail to send his team out fully focused on the job in hand, but, human nature being what it is, it's inevitable players' minds will be drifting to Tuesday night. Make no mistake, if we are to develop the self-belief that will carry us to promotion, beating Rotherham at home is something that needs to happen as a matter of course (no disrespect to them), but that said, MC will be treating the two games as a set, with cup-tied players certain to play for example.
My one fear over those two games is gifting a soft goal. Millwall pressed us really aggressively last week and we were shaky. And haven't had a soft one since Coventry's first. Glover also looked like he had a rick in him against Chelsea and the (likely) wet windy night at the Bridge makes me nervous. If we have a mistake waiting to happen you'd almost hope it was on Saturday, when it might not matter...
