It’s quite an ambiguous description isn’t it.And yet Sunderland fans continue to get away with their chanting every time we play them.
The issue for me with Sunday’s game was that quite clearly there was thousands of people tragedy chanting right throughout the match. You could hear it clear as a bell on TV. The commentators never even mentioned it. It happens every single time Manchester United play Liverpool. It’s no good arresting one person for it. The only solution is to make Manchester United v Liverpool a behind-closed-doors fixture until it stops.
I know what you mean but… there does need to be action taken. It was clearly several thousand people doing it on Sunday. The FA hasn’t even issued a statement yet, or any warnings as far as I can see. I would expect Manchester United to be charged with failing to control their fans as this isn’t the first time it’s happened. I also struggle to understand how police forces arrest a tiny handful of people when everyone knows there’s thousands doing the exact same thing.hmmmm - if they do that ..... doesn't it, by default 'stop'
It would be great if they did btw

That’s fair, I didn’t hear what the Liverpool fans were signing about Munich but if they were singing about it then they too should be fined and made to play behind closed doors imo.It wouldn’t just be Man Utd being changed over fans it would be Liverpool as well, not sure why they get a pass when they sing about the air disaster every fixture.
And no TV coverage.I agree with your idea btw
Next season play them both behind closed doors.
The following season go back to full stadia with the condition that if the chants are repeated there will be 3 years of behind closed doors
Keep repeating
Oh, can you imagine? And no TV coverage.
Same applies to a small but vocal group of our away fans too sadly. And yet Sunderland fans continue to get away with their chanting every time we play them.
