Spot on!Pretty fair assessment
If you look at stats not cost he had ok goal returns in his first three seasons with us, but he wasn't that great technically
I don't think Pulis did him any favours, and certainly prefer Britt as a person to him
Completely and utterly disagree- Coburn is a cart horseHe took his goal well - his heading is possibly the strongest part of his game. And he's getting better at holding the ball up. Maybe second season he'll be that top-level striker I was hoping for. Maybe I won't keep wishing we had Simms or Armstrong or Bamford. We look much more dangerous with Coburn in the side, that's all I'll say, although yes, he's been ok since he came back from injury. He's not shocking, but Latte doesn't have anything that gets me excited.
Assombalonga was a nailed on 15+ striker every season

That didn't seem quite right to me, so I looked it up. He got 16 and 15 in his first two seasons for us, then 11, then 5 in his last season. So not quite guaranteed 15+ every season, actually.Assombalonga was a nailed on 15+ striker every season, but according to some he was to blame for everything wrong in the modern world.
I would argue with have this in Josh Coburn, the two of them could be a really effective partnership if played together but this means again a change of system.Precisely this - we need someone with a bit better all round game than Lath has. Someone who can hold the ball, take pressure off the team, and bring others into play. You’ve got to look at the bigger picture folks.
When we went on that run of seven wins in a row it coincided with Coburn coming into the side. We do indeed seem to play better with him in the side, at least when he is fully fit. It seems most have written him off now unfortunately - forgetting just how good he is before his injury problemsI would argue with have this in Josh Coburn, the two of them could be a really effective partnership if played together but this means again a change of system.
When Josh plays we are so much better going forward because as you ha e indicated we have a focal point and IMO Josh finishing ability is yet to be questioned as he has also fed on scraps but just like his late goal against Rotherham at home which looked on side does have knack for putting the ball in the back of the net when he gets the service.
Yep definitely at least one more but preferably twoCoburn is fine and offers something different to LL. However, even with both in the squad we need at least 1 more striker as this season proved, as there is no guarantee they will stay fit and the championship is relentless for games. Lost count of the number of games we played this season without a recognised striker on the pitch.
Is that with cup goals? When talking 20 goals we usually mean league goals. He got 15, 14, 11, then 5. Averaged 11 a season which is poor. If Lath continues his scoring rate he will get 11 in his first season despite only playing half the matches. Lath is a far better forward than Britt wasThat didn't seem quite right to me, so I looked it up. He got 16 and 15 in his first two seasons for us, then 11, then 5 in his last season. If it’s two, then one of those needs to be equally comfortable out wide. We don’t need four players who only play CFYep definitely at least one more but preferably two
