I imagined this would be very straight forward but I cannot find a way to do it.
Anyone been able to do this?
Anyone been able to do this?
hmmm and why do you want to do that eh?
I'm in. Seriously though, if you need to do this. Why not use something like a secure USB pen that has hardware encryption like the IronKey S1000. Better than storing it on a computer. Not really , but the next best thing is to put off the casual browser person. Say you had a folder named BorosBestGoals then just rename it to MyboilsandrashesPics and very likely this wont be of interest to anybody
Until you lose it......I'm in. Seriously though, if you need to do this. Why not use something like a secure USB pen that has hardware encryption like the IronKey S1000. Better than storing it on a computer.
You can do it with some programs, or you could zip the folder and password protect it.I imagined this would be very straight forward but I cannot find a way to do it.

Well yeah. I wasn't accounting for fecklessness.Until you lose it......
NEVER store crypto related stuff on a computer, NEVER type in your SEED keys, and NEVER share them with anyoneA place to hide my bitcoin if I choose to buy one from a miner.
Once the container is created, you have to choose a drive letter to mount it to, I just use A.
Isn't A already reserved for your 5.25" disk drive?
That's usually d drive unless modified.Isn't A already reserved for your 5.25" disk drive?
I was thinking floppy not optical. That's usually d drive unless modified.
Nah on newer windows A is usually free, so it is available as one of the choices offered by Veracrypt when mounting. It can be any letter that's free, I either choose A or Z as an easy reminder that I've mounted it.I was thinking floppy not optical.
