Doesn't really matter - as Leeds getting promoted is a great story, so just as well it stands.
You're just imagining a scenario here because VAR has made you insane.Yeah. VAR has never given a foul when there was no foul

Imagine taking that away from those Leeds fans?Agreed.
Glad the linesman didn't flag, it's more entertaining when they get things wrong.
Why focus on the linesman’s mistake and not Dieng’s terrible goalkeeping on the cross that led to Bamford’s goal?Imagine taking that away from those Leeds fans?
Because players play the game and referees facilitate it.Why focus on the linesman’s mistake and not Dieng’s terrible goalkeeping on the cross that led to Bamford’s goal?
Because two human beings made a mistake, an error in judgment. I don’t think one is more consequential than the other. Dieng should’ve done better and so should the linesman. We get on with the game.Because players play the game and referees facilitate it.
This is the facilitators of the game failing to sufficiently implement its laws. The whole enterprise hangs on that.
Why are you more interested in criticising our players than recognising incompetence from officials?
Winning the ball isn't enough anymore. It's about being in control. It was probably a foul and a booking but not a red. VAR would have done nothing, it doesn't give out bookings.Looked like RBDB won the ball to me? If not it's borderline and would likely be a red in the prem.
It'll even out over the season...Imagine taking that away from those Leeds fans?
Because us getting punished for our own mistakes is fair, getting punished for the officials mistake is notWhy focus on the linesman’s mistake and not Dieng’s terrible goalkeeping on the cross that led to Bamford’s goal?
Agreed, it was a yellow no moreWinning the ball isn't enough anymore. It's about being in control. It was probably a foul and a booking but not a red. VAR would have done nothing, it doesn't give out bookings.
Except it wouldn’tNo we wouldn't. VAR would have given a foul in the run up to Boro's first goal. And take 5 minutes doing it.
The rest of the game would’ve played out differently if the offside had been given so it’s not as simple as you make out.No VAR costs us a point.
That’s because reacting and keeping pace with pro athletes is near impossible…I suggest we provide some assistance through technology
Linesman can't even keep up with play, he's been miles behind every time.

If we could defend properly we might’ve got a point or three.
