Should she have said it? No.
Was she right? Yes.
hardly the crime of century and she's done the right thing and apologised. The fact she's said it shows the strength of feeling and how much she cares. That makes her infinitely more fit to be an MP than any number of Tories who are purely in it for self interest and will happily trot out the party line however morally reprehensible it is.
