When I moved up to Newcastle for uni many years ago I inevitably got called ‘smoggy’ and ‘smog’, one lad on my course called me ‘smoggle’ (it’s an l not an upper case i, so not smoggie) and it caught on, still gets used as my nickname by a few people from those days.

When I was younger and had hair I was a ginge, and all gingers at my school got called rooster (red glove on the top of the head). Also explains my avatar too.
 
As a kid my favourite player was John Hendrie and one of my best mates was bandy aka bandito who some people known on this board and he sent me a birthday card on which he stuck John hendries head on a weetabix for a chest ! Hence ....

You sure? I used the name first on social media about 22 years ago so a while since I have seen the movie.
 
Hap(py) was an ironic nickname I picked up as a very serious 20 something lad 😂
