I had my first Pfizer a couple of weeks ago and no side effects at all thankfully apart from mild dead arm, but others did feel it, so it’s luck of the draw.Booked in for Saturday at the Riverside and second is 28th August (feels like ages away!), the site was very glitchy this morning, a lot of going back and refreshing. Just hope I'm not worse for wear for the England game.
I had the AZ vaccine a few weeks ago. I was bad as a dog for about 10 hours, but after that...absolutely fine. I'm assuming the Riverside only issues AZ? Again, it's hit and miss as a lot of people I know have had no side effects at all.Booked in for Saturday at the Riverside and second is 28th August (feels like ages away!), the site was very glitchy this morning, a lot of going back and refreshing. They must be doing an alternative as I'm under 30 so can't have AZ, just asked the question on another thread but does anyone know which one it might be, Moderna or Pfizer?I had the AZ vaccine a few weeks ago. Ah of course, yes. I made the assumption on AZ being at Darlington FC where I went and the additional logistics of refrigeration that are required for Moderna & Pfizer. They must be doing an alternative as I'm under 30 so can't have AZ, just asked the question on another thread but does anyone know which one it might be, Moderna or Pfizer?
I had exactly the same experience. Only a dead arm but woke up thinking I was feverish. Until the other half woke and said “I’m opening the Windows, it’s stuffy as hell in here!”I had my first Pfizer a couple of weeks ago and no side effects at all thankfully apart from mild dead arm, but others did feel it, so it’s luck of the draw.
The worst bit was I was expecting side effects so kept waking up in the night, feeling warm et. because I was under the duvet then panicking I had a fever

Scotland looks bad as well - must admit I only really keep tracks on England, what site is that data from?
It was just something picked up by the Guardian this morning produced by the PA news agency.Scotland looks bad as well - must admit I only really keep tracks on England, what site is that data from?
Yeah me too. Not worried about the cases but the deaths are going the same way. This is unexpected and troublingHeading in the wrong direction with deaths now albeit still quite low numbers.
It's a little worrying again,at least for me.
I am still prepared to wait a little while, a certain number of deaths will, perhaps always be the case. It's the level that matters. Oh I don't know I hope now, rather than expect, I suppose.Yeah me too. Not worried about the cases but the deaths are going the same way. This is unexpected and troubling
You do feel we are entering a critical phase and what happens over the next few weeks in terms of deaths in particular will determine our way of life going forward.I am still prepared to wait a little while, a certain number of deaths will, perhaps always be the case. The numbers are for deaths registered in the last seven days and is compared to the deaths registered in the previous seven days. In the most recent seven days Monday was a normal working day and would have caught most of the deaths that occurred over the weekend. In the previous week Monday was a bank holiday so there were probably few deaths registered.I am still prepared to wait a little while, a certain number of deaths will, perhaps always be the case. Hopefully, I have had 5 cans of beer watching France v Bulgaria so a fair bit of your post was a struggle for me, but I think I get the point. Right now we are comparing apples and oranges so let it settle down a bit and see where we are?The numbers are for deaths registered in the last seven days and is compared to the deaths registered in the previous seven days. 0 deaths were reported on the 1st June (registered on 31st May) whereas 13 were reported today. 12 were reported on the 2nd June and 18 on the 3rd.
Once the impact of the bank holiday drop out of the numbers the change in deaths may drop back to match the change in hospitalizations.
You are absolutely right one way or the other. You do feel we are entering a critical phase and what happens over the next few weeks in terms of deaths in particular will determine our way of life going forward.
That's right. I'd wait until Thursday and even then any day in isolation needs to be treated with caution. Having such absolute low numbers of deaths can always lead to large percentage swings because of some artifact of how the numbers are compiled.Hopefully, I have had 5 cans of beer watching France v Bulgaria so a fair bit of your post was a struggle for me, but I think I get the point.
