Shirt sizes

Just before I commit myself to ordering one of the new home tops - anyone know what they are like size wise and how they compare to previous seasons?

I’ve had the last three Hummel away tops all in XXL and they are perfect fits

thanks in advance and no grumpy b***r comments about me being a grown man and far too old to wear a replica top please.

I would imagine they will be the same fitting as previous hummel tops so you should be fine.

Last year someone bought me a Boro top and it was my first hummel one, I didn't realise the replica kits had a tighter/snugger fit, so my usual size just to say fit rather than being comfortable.

I don't know if this is a hummel thing or if more manufacturers are going down this 'fitted' route, I suppose kits these days are being made tighter to prevent shirt pulling.

However, there are different requirements between a professional playing at the Riverside and a fat knacker like me trying to get served at the bar. I'm not sure someone even in pre-covid times is going to haul me back to get their last orders in first in case the barrel needs changing!

Thanks. yes- that was my assumption but I thought it best to check before I committed. Returning stuff to mfc retail via the post seems a bit of a faff from what I can see.

What I find massively annoying when buying sportswear is that I’m a L with adidas, XL in Nike and New Balance and XXL in Hummel …. Oh well…

Great effort that fella 👏👏👏
Started long distance walking virtually every day across public footpaths to beat the monotony and loneliness of the initial lockdown, the walking eventually turned into running. Can normally do 5k in about 35 mins. Not bad for someone who hadnt done any exercise since school.

Anyway the Boro tops are very comfy to run in I find 👍

Sadly I had a bad vertigo attack about 6 weeks ago which hospitalised me and I’m still struggling with - my head constantly aches and my balance is still fkd but I managed to walk 7 miles today and 9 miles one day last week. Just hope I can get back to it soon:

Sorry to hear that mate

I don't think I could run that far & I stopped playing football 10 years ago, I do regular walks, 5 - 8 miles

I'm lucky, I can still get into my 1986 shirt I bought back in the day, which I wore for our playoff final v Norwich

I can’t remember having a boro shirt when I was younger - I’ve accumulated more in the last five years and now have a quite a collection. If it makes you happy get one - who gives a crap how old you are! Do what makes you happy.
