BBC tees post match

Why is half the phone in dedicated to one fans say in Dana malt. I don't object to her having an after match summary but is she really needed to speak at such length after every game at the expense of other callers

Yep, equality innit. Need a female voice.

EDIT because a few posters love to assume the wrong thing. Representation is important, she’s a female boro fan who knows her stuff and it’s important that we have that representation via the media. Thank you.

Very much smacks of a woke sentiment having her cast her opinion at the end of the game, she could at least have something honest and fresh to say if she is an outisider from the club however she just comes across as another mfc sycophant on the airwaves “well we’ve lost yet again but we will go again against hull on Tuesday, up the boro, onwards and upwards etc etc”

How is woke having a decent presenter on there who can string a sentence together?

I hope we go ‘woke’ in the January transfer window and bring some really good players in!

Where did I say it was a bad thing mate?
I think it’s a bit harsh to say she’s only on because she’s a female when she’s got a decent CV for broadcast work over the last couple of years.

Was also responding to the other post about it being ‘woke’.

To be fair, I’d rather listen to her than expert summariser Neil Maddison who’s offerings seldom amount to any more than ‘we need to be betta’

I agree, which is why I didn’t say that she was ONLY there because she’s female. But as somebody who’s worked with the BBC, equality is a thing and representation is important.

So let me clarify. A female voice IS needed.
