Hackney is playing really well

Akpom when he controls tbe ball you can see how good he is with his running & close control

Positive so far, we're not 3 down, but we've had a few good spells in the 1st half so far
 
Happy with Forss getting that booking there. He needs to make better use of his physicality and let defenders know they’re in a game
 
This ref is sh1t, hes penalising us for anything and even nothing, yet they can do what ever they want.
 
I would be tempted to bring Crooks on for Howson. Won't happen but he's having one of them games where it just isn't working.
Might need to throw Hoppe on as well as the forwards aren't clicking yet today.
 
Decent enough first half. Good first five. On the ropes for the next twenty. Then their lad tries some Kung Fu on Forss and we regroup and played the better stuff closing out the half.
Giles cross looks like a weapon. Jones has his man isolated more often as they're playing wingbacks.
Gibson is showing what a good player he is. Disappointed that Forss isn't getting on the end of any crosses. Chubas been doing it all season. Maybes bring muniz on last 20.
 
I think we're playing really well, passing the ball nicely with Howson & Hackney playing lovely passing football, Norwich front two look so dangerous

We could have been 3 down within half an hour but seemed to have limited their chances on goal after that

Forss let himself down with that silly challenge & deserved booking, the Norwich player had played Akpom in when Forss clattered resulting in a free kick

We'll get a chance in the 2nd half, hopefully we're ready when it comes

Norwich are good, slick & dangerous
 
Some really good build up plays from us, but the final ball and finishing hasn’t quite matched it. Norwich have a bit more quality than us and it shows when they break quickly against us, but you can see a marked improvement in our overall play in the relatively short time Carrick has been here. Young Hackney once again having a very good game - he could be some player
 
I’ve sussed their little game……Puuki just did exactly the same as Seargent on Lenihan……head down, don’t look at the ball and run into the player so it looks like you’re being pulled down.
 
Hackney looks like a real player.
Seen enough in that first half to think we can get something from the game. Thought we got to grips with them for the last 15-20 mins of that half and probably didn’t want half time whistle to come.
