Good “mini” series to watch recommendations

Looking at a good mini series to binge watch today, I have cancelled all my plans, locked the door and drawn the curtains, the whole day is mine and I’m gonna waste it my way!

I would love a series that’s not 6 seasons of 18 episodes, something much shorter, like a Luther sort of length.

Watched white lotus, 2 series of about 6 episodes, that was all a bit weird but good at the same time!

TIA people

Astrid in Paris - a "sort" of detective series set in .... ermm ... Paris but with the one of the leads being autistic. Not going to intellectually challenge you but good entertainment

Edit - on ITV Hub (or ITV-X or whatever its called now)

Have you seen Fauda on Netflix?

Seriously good. Fast and furious, it’s like Zero Dark Thirty on speed with a bit of The Wire.

Israeli undercover special forces unit working in Palestine. Most of the actors are actual ex-Israeli special forces or Palestinians, it’s their first ever major co-production. Shades of grey with every character, people call it the Middle Eastern Wire but I think it’s more like 24 with loads more depth and ultra realism. Check it out.

Brilliant guys, will check out every suggestion offered, appreciate it.

I’m too old and senile for anything too arduous, enjoy a short format series more

Recently, I have enjoyed the Old Man and Slow Horses. Both worth a watch if you’ve not already seen them.

I also enjoyed the sci fi mystery Outer Range, with Josh Brolin, which was a bit warped. Only one series and ends with more questions than it starts with, but there is a second season coming at some point.

Succession is the best of the lot though, imo, although 3 series of that so too much for a day binge.
