Well you could not have one and pay over £30 every home game it’s up to you. It’s literally a fact that a season ticket is now devalued.

You're wasting your time mate. He whinges every time theres a big game. How on earth someone can't grasp that a season ticket holder who go's to more away games than others, should have priority is absolutely baffling! The season ticket gives you a heavily discounted ticket to every home game including loyalty points, you then top this up by attending away games. I don’t think to devalues the season ticket whatsoever. If you wish to attend games like Sunderland away then supporters should attend more away games and boost their points, it’s fair enough.
Correct and that’s my prerogative but that’s not what we’re discussing here is it? We’re discussing the benefits of a season ticket and how it has been devalued by the priority points system. The discount on match by match was always a benefit, and still is. The benefit of guaranteeing you a shot at buying ticket is no longer a benefit.Well you could not have one and pay over £30 every home game it’s up to you.
Well you know what you need to do, go to more away games, why should you get a ticket over a more loyal fan?Correct and that’s my prerogative but that’s not what we’re discussing here is it? They're not less worthy - they're just not more worthy than those who can't afford the time or the money to go to every away match (or "perhaps" those that buy tickets for their mates and harvest the priority points )Fans that travel the length of the country watching Boro might have time and money but it will only be because of major sacrifices. Please do not dismiss those fans as somehow less worthy
I totally agree with this.Something needs to be done to address the unobtainable benefits of the Gold Card, as it unfairly favours fans above a certain age, and there's no way of ever catching up with them.
Bar that, I think the Priority Points scheme is fine.
And I would suggest a significant number of gold card holders aren't the original holders anyway - they're passed on to other family members / mates so the benefits are retainedAnd the 'gold' status is currently a closed shop
I think you’re clutching a bit there mate. And I would suggest a significant number of gold card holders aren't the original holders anyway - they're passed on to other family members / mates so the benefits are retained
The number is debatable, the fact it happens is notI think you’re clutching a bit there mate.
Because away games don’t really count for the club. Their finances aren’t based on fans good weekend in preston etc it’s The regular income ST holders that are the bedrock. Why should a ST holder who hasn’t been to an away game be able to get a ticket over someone who’s been to 10?
I’m not surprised you’re baffled if you’re just going to ignore the points that have been raised. You're wasting your time mate. He whinges every time theres a big game. I’m don’t understand what you are referencing? It’s about a fair playing field for our fans to but sought after away ticketsBecause away games don’t really count for the club. Their finances aren’t based on fans good weekend in preston etc it’s The regular income ST holders that are the bedrock.
Agree.A cheap and easy way for these people to build-up points, which is exactly what many of us predicted people would do as it happens at every other club with a points scheme.
What’s not to understand? All season ticket holders put the same amount of money into the club. Revenue from away ticket sales doesn’t go to the club.I’m don’t understand what you are referencing? It’s about a fair playing field for our fans to but sought after away tickets
That’s what I know happens at sunlun for instance.I'm curious to know how many people with 220+ actually attended all these matches.
Go on Twitter in the build-up to any away game and you will see the same people offering multiple concession tickets at face value, as people have "dropped out".

Yes but to support the clubs fans a loyalty points system is the fairest way. Loyalty should be rewarded and not have some mad free for all. What’s not to understand? All season ticket holders put the same amount of money into the club. Revenue from away ticket sales doesn’t go to the club.
It does might not have attended all away games but bought tickets for all away games and sold some on to gain high points totalThat’s what I know happens at sunlun for instance.
The club should support fans that buy season tickets. By utilising a priority points system they’re choosing to prioritise one set of season ticket holders over another.Yes but to support the clubs fans a loyalty points system is the fairest way.
