After best part of 60 years, actively supporting the Boro, this is first season (2019/20) that I decided not to renew my Season Card.
I’ve lived through so many ups and downs but the club’s recent Manager decisions finally pushed me over the brink. Strachan started the slide. Thought Karanka was treated badly and was disappointed when he left. Pulis tipped me over the edge. He sucked all the pleasure out of the game. The only glimmer of enjoyment was to see Adama Traore in full flow.
The relief, when Pulis was finally terminated, was then tempered by the club’s failure to give any indication of a new appointment, despite marketing early bird renewals.
I decided not to take a chance on the club making a decent appointment, this time.
Decided to spend my time doing a bit more running - after 35 years with no exercise whatsoever.
I’m still interested - albeit a far more passive supporter - no doubt many will now think I’m not entitled to comment... tough!
