I used to be IT aware. I am realising that is no more. Best of luck for your help from people way ahead on my generation on here.
Before we had 27 square metres of terrace. That was enclosed by pull down awnings that used manual winding. Like you can see next door.
We have put electric awnings over the top of the outer part of the terrace. To get some shade. Then enclosed around 35-40% with the glass curtains.
They slide...
They tend to be smaller width and frameless. Our ones have 10 panes to cover a little less than 7 metres of curved frontage. With 5 panes able to fold back on each side.
That is why I was wondering if it is a Spanish thing. Or whether similar designs are popular in the UK.
There are so many companies in Spain selling glass curtains. It is difficult to avoid the advertising.
We have just had some installed and they are changing our lives.
At the moment we are eating all our meals on the terrace. Plus playing cards and board games on the terrace in the evening...
I think I have had recent experience of this phenomenon.
The younger me would have been very surprised when I was recently enjoying: baked breaded prawns served with gooseberry and rhubarb jam. (Updated: Forgot to mention I added some chilli powder into the jam.)
The home made jam was a gift...
