So do you look back at WW2 and say looking at it objectively both the Nazis and the French Resistance behaved atrociously?
Gaza has been annihilated. The UN says 90+% of the residential buildings are destroyed or damaged. The official death toll was 50k+ before Israel destroyed all their...
Sorry Quicksilvera, but can't agree with you here.
If your friends are still in the IDF now, knowing as we all do what their organisation is doing in Gaza, then they are are complicit in murder and terrorism.
I don't think anyones denying that. The target of the words is an important bit of context though isn't it? The IDF are carrying out a genocide, of course there won't be much sympathy if mean words are said about them.
Laughing at some of the stuff on this thread. "The IDF aren't all bad", "my mates in the IDF and he likes football", "the IDF are vulnerable individuals"...
Sorry to remind you 1finny, I wish your recollected version of events was correct but unfortunately not.
It was actually just under a quarter of the Labour MPs that voted against the tories Welfare Bill in 2015. Most of them did as Harman instructed and abstained...
Chill out. I was just teasing about your question not being explicit.
I disagree with your point. I don't think the UK government would be particularly critical of a US attack on a country regardless of whether we were still in the EU or there was a more typical president in the white house...
I don't think there's anything in Starmers words that a reasonable person could read as criticism. When you say itll be taken either way by people I think you'd have to admit the most straightforward reading is that its a statement of support and at best you could maybe claim its neutral. But...
But thats just one round of bombing right? I don't think there's loads of sense in saying if we're not involved on night #1 we never will be.
I'm not especially saying I think we will get involved. Just surprised to see anybody be so confident we wouldn't that they'd bet their house on it or...
What makes you both so confident of the UK not getting involved? Are you just thinking of involvement as being boots on the ground? Why would the UK do reconnaissance to help Israel do what they're doing in Gaza, but not do similar in Iran?
Is that realistic? It seems like Putins bitten off more than he can chew just fighting Ukraine. Doubt Russia could cope with many other countries joining that war.
That's funny cause I remember the QT audience in the 2019 election actually laughing at the sh*t Boris was peddling, the laughter was then edited out when they repeated those clips later on.
As the saying goes, its easier to fool people than to convince them they've been fooled.
By that logic, if the Boro squad don't like the new head coach that comes in we should be happy for the defenders to start sabotaging and scoring own goals every game. Doesn't sound quite right to me.
