This is how desperate the Tory sh*tshouses are now, trying to garner support by stoking up some war fever from the knuckle dragging fraternity.
What would be the point? A single drone could wipe out a platoon in 10 seconds, men cannot fight in the age of AI & robots - and a drone is simply a flying robot with weapons.
They have sold everything worth having and destroyed swathes of industry - making us reliant on foreign imports, destroyed our best economic interests with our European neighbours and then crashed the economy. Every iteration of Tory government has been progressively weaker and less able to manage anything but cronyism - the only thing at which I believe them to be adept.
Fight for him? I wouldn't p*ss on him if he was on fire.

If forced to sign up, thrown in the army, and given a weapon I would more likely turn it around and use it on myself, right in the napper. If WW3 kicks off, we're done.
Though I would imagine I'd likely be given some sort of medical exemption, still hypothetically speaking here of course.
Coz if it comes to it?? I am a mess both 'up there' and physically, not sure what kind of purpose I would serve right at this moment in time. I'd be a hindrance. So what would I be forced to do otherwise?
No disrespect to those who served in major wars previously .. but 'WAR!!!!!' it's not for me I'm afraid. Especially a thermonuclear one, caused by the most incompetent bunch of cnts we have ever seen involved in International Relations. Donald Trump is likely next, again gonna be the most powerful man on the planet. For crying out loud what has happened to humans?
Anyway, when it kicks off, I'd sooner just sit in an old ROC shelter out in the sticks somewhere, reading a book or something, maybe sketching a few doodles of **** and balls in a little drawing pad to cheer myself up .. waiting for the big flash to vaporize us all. ...

Those of us who’ve served in the military will probably agree the next world war wouldn’t be anything like the conflicts from the 20th century, so the question imo is irrelevant, as drones and other sophisticated weapons of war would be used thereby rendering a call up/conscription futile.
However there could be a chance that our siblings will be asked to pull the trigger on a graphical display so that a drone or AI can penetrate enemy defenses. A war fought with thermonuclear technology would not accomplish anything other than mass casualties and destruction of large land mass which we all agree is totally unthinkable.
If I was a young laddie I guess I’d be very happy to serve my country but at the same time knowing that it probably would only result in certain death.

Instinctively, no, I'm not doing anything that would be decided by the government (whoever is in charge).
On the other hand, if we suffered a Ukraine like attack where another country invaded to forcibly take it then I'd fight to defend. That decision would really be made for us though and thankfully due to our geographical location I can't see it being a realistic proposition at any point.

Nope, always believed that war will cease when young men refuse to fight for their political leaders, OR when the politicians and leaders and their children have to be the ones to go and fight. will be no more wars if that happened.
