Don’t you love how ex pros use the championship as an insult

Since when did stating the bleeding obvious become a put down or disrespectful.

The gulf in class between championship and Prem is massive. Prob bigger than its ever been.
You simply can’t get away with the same stuff against a much better side.
I think we have been living proof of that

No shame at all in talking about different levels in the game.

Premier league is a higher level compared to championship. Championship is a higher level compared to league one etc etc

Has nobody told you this before? 😂

"The goals [conceded], we're disappointed with, bits of sloppy defending. It's fine margins when you come somewhere like this, against this level of team. You get punished for mistakes that you might not in the Championship," 31-year-old Gibson said.

Ben Gibson, Championship and ex Premier League footballer.

It was like a rerun of the 1976 League Cup semi final. Boro holding a one goal lead into the second leg, fans all up for it, but game, set and match before half time in the second leg.

Deja vu all over again.
