Time for a specialist defensive coach?

Our defence has been shambolic since last season, we just had enough attacking threat to paper over the cracks. Van Der Berg is top quality and our keepers are good but beyond that we are poor defensively. Fry is extremely poor, Engel is awful, Ayling is dangerous going forward and sometimes he’s defensively strong but other times he looks poor. Look at Sunderland last week, they dribbled the ball into the six yard box, then look at today for the chance to score a third, our defence was cut in half, then look at the goal we conceded last week with a man on his own on the edge of our box without a defender within 10 yards
