New Season Tickets on sale for 2024/25

I’ve posted this before but I remember years ago now gibbo was asked ( when he still did interviews) why we didn’t discount massively for certain games just to fill the place as surely theyd sell more sell drinks food etc and he said something that he’d rather have half paying full than everyone paying half as even with less crowds we take more revenue than sunlun did with a full stadium.

That attitude seems to be still there.

The email sent out is very perfunctory.

No hint of a rallying cry to join us next season for a fresh campaign and cheer on the team etc.
Nothing about supporting your team.
Nothing about sorry we have had to increase the cost this year but hope you will still be able to come.

No! They are on sale now and you've got 4 weeks to give us your money, take it or leave it. Very disappointing tone.
I see what you mean, a very poor effort.

i'll be sticking to blagging freebies in the styled lounge given this pricing! boooo down with this sort of thing

I don't know whether its earlier than last year or not.

Price is higher for a Club that will have gone backwards and seem to have lower ambition.
Of course their general costs will have gone up in the inflationary year we have just had, but asking early for higher payment for something they haven't started or are even set up for, when you've still got a third of this year's version left is taking the ****.
I can't believe the club think its the thing to ask us to pay to watch a football match in 16 months time and to pay more for it.

First time I think I've ever seen you criticise the ticket pricing. Fair play.
But that really does show the club have took the p1ss here, because if they've lost the defence of Indeedido on their pricing structure, I doubt they will have anyone who thinks it's fair.

I agree with this. I'm sure they think 'fans will moan anyway' but to not even try and persuade people its worth it is a baffling choice.

Lots of IPTV providers will be rubbing their hands together at this news.

Oi, that’s what I said😉

5 mates thus far all think it’s a joke

I doubt anyone outside rockcliffe can really justify this.

£60 increase in last two seasons - pretty ***ed off with that. I do sense a big fall in the number of renewals. General perception out there is that we have no ambition, selling our best players etc. I’ve missed a good 5-6 matches this season so would be much better off just buying on the day tbh

Absolutely F***ing ridiculous. To the point it's almost funny.

4 weeks notice, increases and on the back of a positive 2023 we fail to reinvest in the squad which seems we have gave up on the season. They then ask for these prices. Laughable.

How many own goals do this club want to score ! Attendances have been up and a feel good factor around the club. They have undone all that hard work in the space of 4 weeks.

We must be in a pretty bad way financially if this is the BS we have resorted to as a club.
We've sold Akpom, Rogers and Crooks in the last 6 months (plus others) all for an assumed sizeable profit. I think they are continuing their usual 'extract maximum revenue from fans' strategy, but it is a funny one not to even do a little explainer with it. Next season is likely to be the first time we've had 8 second tier seasons in a row since 1973-1974.

Maybe they're expecting history to repeat itself and people to think 'count me in'! I'm honestly surprised they didn't wait at least another week though after Saturday's fiasco, purely from a PR angle.
