If only we were closer to playoffs ☹️ because the fixtures after Leicester are fairly winnable.

Plymouth (H)
Stoke (A)
Norwich (H)
QPR (A)
Birmingham (A)
Blackburn (H).

Let’s hope our luck changes soon. UTB.

I thought that about Rotherham, Sunderland, Bristol and Preston.

We have been an average team all season, we are average in the form table average in our league position, with an average -1 goal difference, it's not suddenly going to change.

I have to say that we have been extremely unlucky in some recent games having dominated, but it does come down to not putting chances away. Our defensive lapses are generally leading to goals, last night being a clear example but also Sunderland and Hull. We didn't deserve much against Bristol C but again they took most of the chances we gifted them.
Funnily enough the two home games where we've looked most solid were Leicester and West Brom(admittedly we got a bit lucky not to concede against Leicester). Perhaps it's a case of us working that bit harder against better opposition.

It's the Championship, it's us. We are capable of winning all 6, losing all 6, or somewhere in between. I'm not even looking at the league table now, I'm just going to the game and enjoying (or not) each one for what it is.

Given that Preston put in the worst performance by any team visiting the Riverside this season in the earlier fixture, I would have thought that this game just gone was a shoe-in for a win for us. In some ways this is a wonderful league, in that anyone can beat anyone. But equally when things don't go your way, its frustrating.

Plymouth (H) - be plenty of goals in this one
Stoke (A) - Stoke seem to turn into Man City when they play us
Norwich (H) - Right in the Play Off battle
QPR (A) - Fighting for their lives
Birmingham (A) - Fighting and Tony will want get one over on us
Blackburn (H). - Probably the most winnable on the list so stinks of being 2-0 down at HT

For from an easy run and if Leicester put us to the sword on Saturday then its 3 defeats in a row, a lack of confidence and Plymouth becomes a very tough game.

Each match thread is full of people bemoaning our luck or even that we may be cursed.

It seems to be a specific type of curse that causes our defenders and keeper to be crap every week and forces Carrick to play our only potential fit striker on the wing.

We have to be careful as if we don't get a win by QPR come around they will be right on us if they beat us. Fear we doing what we did at start the season atleast we have some points buffer now. But can't see where the wins coming from
