Was far from great however, I felt he was turning into a half reasonable championship player scored 11 goals for us one season. Then got greedy ****ed off to Watford and has scored about 4 goals since.

Quite why how a player who man utd give away and scored a few goals in league 1 was suddenly worth 6 million, but Monk came along with
the parachute payment cash and spunked 10 million on fees and wages on a potato

He was never that good for Boro, he had a couple of decent runs, but he was and still is a total fanny on a football pitch

Jokes aside. He's done nothing anywhere. The only consolation for every other club is that they brought him on a free. We paid 7mil. The mind boggles. A stunningly bad bit of business. Yet we paid the same for Saville and Flint.

Some really ridiculous transfer business back then.
