You couldn't just couldn't imagine things like this nowadays. Folk these days would freak 😅

No programmes but hours and hours of muzak and elevator music (even though some of it was quite good 😉😁)

In later years, Ceefax and Oracle/Teletext were more useful...but more entertaining than constant repeats of Bargain Hunt and HUTH.

Maybe a break from 24hr tv has to be a good thing?

They haven't changed that much , it's still ski Sunday, countryfile and other gash telly for a kid before bath and bed time
 
Sandra Kerr who did the music for Bagpuss is in her 80s now and still going strong. Active on the Northumbrian folk scene, running choirs and still gigging nationwide, as well as being mum to Nancy.
