Middlesbrough vs Plymouth Argyle predictions

Plymouth have scored 51 goals this season which is the 6th best total in the league. But they also have conceded 57 which is the 3rd worst.

There'll be goals in it...2-1 Boro

Azaz to score against his old club, doesn't celebrate and gets absolutely slated on here because of it. Narrow win for us. They are dreadful on the road and have a new manager who is still settling in.

There will be goals in this one. 4-1 to boro. Goals for Azaz, Forsse and 2 for silvera. Whitaker to get the consolation goal for argyle.

For the attendance, do you want that for the first 30 minutes or the last 60 minutes?

we've just done the double over run the away leaders and Plymouth have just lost 0-3 at home so that means we'll lose, according to this year's form book.

It could be a reflection of the away game and end 3-3, however, I would hope that we have enough confidence now to hold on at 3-2 😀

1 - 1 for me, they’re going to come sit in and we struggle to break those teams down.

let's face it we've been abject at home this season so i'm not expecting anything to change, but then again this is the mighty Boro we're talking about, so I'm going 3-2. ;)

I dont speculate now having watched Boro since mid fifties, we have always seemed to play well against good teams, but lose out against so called poorer opposition.

Absolutely no idea what to expect again. I sit in the South West and have seen two Boro goals that end all season. If anything, I expect another really slow start while making Plymouth look brilliant.

Carricks post match interview:
“Yeah I’m bitterly disappointed, bitterly disappointed for the boys, thought we deserved much more from that game, on a different day we would be leaving here with three points.. bitterly disappointed but I’m really proud of the boys and how they worked together as a group, just one of those days, lots of positives to take from this, we’re all calm, we can look at what went well and how we can improve as a group and we go again on Wednesday against Norwich which is a tough test, but I have a lot of belief in the boys and today they showed what we could do. On another day we could’ve scored 4 or 5, bitterly disappointed but credit to Plymouth”.
