This is pitiful - well said Dana

When you're living in Newcastle watching that has just made my decision for me as to whether to battle with the traffic on the A19 on Wednesday evening ... IPTV it is then

will be the fourth game i've missed this season how much have I written off my season card there? ... including the pint must be approaching £100

i've seen more effort in a pre-season friendly!
It’s on the red button isn’t it

I get the feeling Carrick is too nice. Does he get stuck into them? Demanding more or just saying keep playing that way and things will turn. I noticed we played far less out from the bank today though,

you can't know that for sure ...
I can.
Relegation would see us sell most of the first team for a start. Football is a lot different now and the chances of finding a load of lads with even half the spirit of Rioch's team, never mind the talent, is very slim.

lol so you have crystal ball then fair enough ;)

I don't need a crystal ball.
The time to invest was last summer on the back of a good season. We had the best player in the Championship, you give him the wages he was worth to have another go at getting us up. We could have signed Giles, but we wouldn't pay the wages he was arguably worth. We allegedly had the money to sign Archer at one point so why not sign him last summer?
This new model isn't some radical method of gaining promotion, its a financial mission and any success relies on getting very, very lucky and finding players who can excel in the one season before we cash in on them.

The thing is we have wasted so much cash trying to replace these players it would of been cheaper to just sign the player. We have signed 3 LBs for Ryan Giles for example

Exactly and that's why I'm not buying the talk about FFP allowing us to spend in the summer.

chances are you are correct but it is impossible to be sure what is going to happen in the future without a crystal ball and no harm it sounds a tad arrogant to be so certain

Sorry if I sound arrogant, but I've supported this club long enough to not be taken in by the spin when the actions tell you otherwise.
I'll happily hold my hands up if I'm wrong.
