Just left King’s Cross.

Great day with the boy and his mates. Good few hours and laughs in London before the game.

First half not so good. Second half better, both goals right in front of us. Calves torn to shreads on the seats when the goals went in.

I do wonder how many more days like this I will have with the boy before he fully grows up and is left in no doubt I’m a muppet.

Fantastic up grade to 1st class on the rattler too. Whom ever is in our seats in pleb class, you are welcome.

Would hope he never thinks that I'm 41 now and would love an away day like the old days with my 70 year old Da.

Seeing him eat a foot long hot dog at Hillsborough in the most alarming manner or peeing on his feet while emptying his bladder in a gutter between the open front and back doors of the car still bring a smile to my face

Sleeps for wimps.

We’re quite lucky only 25 or so mins late
We was 40 late fortunately I’d bought some beer in Waitrose so just sat and drank them and used the free Wi-Fi whilst waiting for the line to clear.

Good day, hope more of the same on Tuesday in Birmingham
