watched Maddren make his debut as a forward and was then shuffled into midfield until Souness come before settling as a CB next to Boam . maddren oozed class and seemed to float about the pitch . Had dodgy knee which curtailed any real training and this was the main reason he never got a cap or a big money move .... Rav has the same style and class , hope he can keep fit and progress as he is ... Needs a big strapping number 5 along side him ... Clarke fits the bill but he not in Ravs class really

Clarke always looks under pressure with the ball (and opposition attackers see this and target him accordingly). Rav doesn't.
 
He is starting to add grit and that battle hardened determination that you only really get from playing games. Appears that he has a sensible head on his shoulders so hopefully we will enjoy his quality for a season or two more before he makes the next leap in his career (if he hasn't gotten there with us of course)
 
I echo a lot of the comments made already. I just love him.

One of my favourite signings in a long time. Hopefully we keep him for next season and he gets promoted with us. It’s the only way we’ll be able to keep him as he’ll be going all the way to the top!
 
Was sold on him when he made that tackle on the Leicester striker… Mr cool
 
Another ditching tackle last night, nobody gets past him, he wins every header. 19 year old. He'll go for £30m.
 
I've always thought "yeah he's really good but maybe fans overhype him because he's our player", after the last couple of games I've realised actually he is absolutely as good as everyone says.
Saved us 5 points in the last two games I think.

A big part of my hype comes from the fact he’s 19 too and he’s progressed throughout the season. The Championship isn’t an easy league to be a CB either. He’s getting more streetwise all the time.

If he’s performing like this now, with the improvement already shown. Imagine him in 2-3 seasons time and beyond. Hopefully he is lucky with injuries.

Hell of a coup for the club in the summer looking back. He comes across as a really down to earth and humble lad too.

It's indicative of how good he is that he's trusted to play that role though. If he's the last the man there's a fairly high chance that any mistake results in a goal. The fact that I cannot think of one such mistake/goal shows the level he's operating at right now.
