I was not scoffing. Thought it was a bit extreme for Ireland. But it does not bother me. Each to his own. You state they has not charted with any previous release. If you are talking mainstream charts, most of the artists I follow have not either. Have done a bit research after your post and there is a fair amount good reaction to it, and have not found much in the way of negative. But I have not dug that deeply. You state 'look at the establishments reaction to the muppets voting it through on the competition night'. When has the music industry artists cared what the establishment thinks. If they make it big maybe in forty years time they will be advertising butter. Anyway seems no Bats were harmed in the making of the video.

Just a tiny detail but could you maybe not continually misgender them
 
Last year, I went to see Joe Bonamassa at Newcastle Arena and couldn't work out what was going on at Central Park as I walked through. Turned out it was a Eurovision final watch party. Even taking into account the unsuitability of Newcastle Arena for hosting concerts, I think I had the better experience.
 
I didn’t realise that performers in the Eurovision could be full on professionals, I thought there were only amateurs , so could someone like Robbie Williams*,take that* or james Arthur* enter and it’s not against the rules?







*obviously not my 3 favorite acts 🤦🏻‍♂️

Haha I got asked if I wanted to go to that gig with my brother, had to turn it down because our house was hosting a Eurovision party 😅

We've had Engelbert Humperdinck and Blue represent us in the past. Blue didn't do too badly, coming 11th. Engelbert on the other hand...

Also all our winning entries were professional acts!
