Bit unfair on Dunk who had a decent game if you ignore the goal. Chilwell was like a Sunday league player had won a lottery to turn out for England. It's a concern because Shaw probably can't play a full tournament but we have no one as a decent second choice at LB

Shaw will be a really big miss if he isn’t fit.
 
Even if Shaw is fit can’t see him being able to play every game at the Euros. Barely had a consistent run all season. It’s a real problem as he’s the best left back by a mile.

He didn't have much to do defensively, but he's just not good enough on the ball, too slow and at fault for 2 goals. Would rather have seen Branthwaite.
 
If Kane, Stones, Walker and Shaw are fully fit, we'll look a much better side.

Thought Gomez had a decent game coming on.

Yes he definitely was. I just don’t think he’ll ever be a talisman in the way Bellingham/Kane are.

Maybe not because Bellinghams always gonna be there with him but if he can transform this seasons City form into England then I can see him becoming more a talisman. He just needs a good tournament.

I think he will be player of the tournament.

I’d be happy with any England player picking up that accolade 👍.
 
Portugal beaten 2-0 tonight by Slovenia… that’s quite a shock result. They had a few big players missing, just like England, but still enough to win you’d think.

Just goes to show mid-season friendlies don’t meant much at all.

France just about beat Chile 3-2, Spain drew 3-3 with Brazil. Germany beat Holland 2-1, and Austria beat Turkey 6-1… both those teams at the Euros.

Chilwell coming back from injury - he got better 2nd half
Dunk didn’t look at home on the international stage
 
Some of our football was superb tonight
Belgium were hanging on and I would be confident we would beat them if we faced them in the Euros
