I love Spotify especially for the feature where a playlist ends and it just goes off on random tangents. Can't even remember what I started listening to but then this pops up.
I like selecting artist radio options too. I find bands like Talking Heads or Echo & the Bunnymen provide a great mixture.Enjoy the DJ bit on there, sick of my liked songs shuffling the same songs tbh.
Thing with Spotify is that you can't use it and think you're helping the bands you listen to. The money that they pay them to use their songs is ridiculously poor. I know they're not perfect but Bandcamp is a decent site to use...at least once a month all the money spent goes directly to the band.I love Spotify especially for the feature where a playlist ends and it just goes off on random tangents. Me too.....the dj has become my best mate over recent months...its like he sees my soulEnjoy the DJ bit on there, sick of my liked songs shuffling the same songs tbh.
I've never listened to an audiobook. I've always worried that I'd lose focus compared to reading.I love that you can they’ve introduced audiobooks as part of premium now.
Good for when out walking or in the gymI've never listened to an audiobook. I've always worried that I'd lose focus compared to reading.
Just checked both out, daylist looks like playlists put together based on the type of music you typically listen to on particular days. Mine is suggesting 60s/70s and ‘campfire’ for Thursday nightsWhat is the DJ option? I’ve never heard of it.
Or the “daylist” option?
It is streets ahead of the other streaming sites, but I use Amazon Music as it works better with all my Alexas.
Daylist you need to search for and then you can save. It changes music at various times during the day/week.What is the DJ option? I’ve never heard of it.

Perhaps that's why I've not listened to one.Good for when out walking or in the gym
It must be only certain books as the ones I've searched for are all to be paid for and I'm a premium subscriber?I love that they’ve introduced audiobooks as part of premium now.
So we have a family plan and just read that it's only the account holder/main user who gets the free 15 hours access which is my daughter who doesn't bother with them and these hours can't be dished out to other family members - bit of a p1sser that.It must be only certain books as the ones I've searched for are all to be paid for and I'm a premium subscriber?

I don't really agree. I hate Bandcamp personally. A lot of artists I buy release exclusively on there and an album will be £22.99 for example but then it adds on shipping of £15 for a UK artist, and then I hit checkout and it bangs on tax. Often for preorder that then takes 3-6 months to come.Thing with Spotify is that you can't use it and think you're helping the bands you listen to.
