Who did nothing outside the penalty area. Different level you are correct, and if we were in the prem I would agree. But we ain't. So I disagree.
 
He had an absolute selfless task today. Running the channels with little or no support.

He should have done better when through on goal. That said he's definitely 'willing' and is a threat due to pace.

You'd have to say without injuries he'd be around the 15 goal mark. Thats a decent return in his first season in the champo. I'd say he's been a success so far.

Agree with that but I actually still hold some hope he could be close to 15 this season 🤞
 
It's not his goals that are the problem for me. He does finish chances, although he needs a fair few some times, but my issue is that he doesn't play the focal point role. We can't play off him like we do with Coburn (and Archer could do it despite his stature but want needed as much because of Akpom). I think we play better as a team with a striker like Coburn but that's mainly because we don't have someone like Akpom anymore being that focal point in a deeper position.

We either need an upgraded version of Coburn or we need an Akpom quality equivalent behind Lath.

Precisely this - we need someone with a bit better all round game than Lath has. Someone who can hold the ball, take pressure off the team, and bring others into play. You’ve got to look at the bigger picture folks.
