McNair hurt his hamstring against Scotland.
You idiotSome can’t help themselves but be negative and slag the lads off. We were very good at times today.
Barlaser MOM for me.
That's top headlining right there.Like the “Flashscore” headline.
“Boro leave it Latte to have the last Lath”!
Will definitely help make a case to any players we are interested in signing in the summer if we finish strongly and keep the run going. If we're around the playoffs we can point to what might have been but for injuries etc.5 unbeaten now, let's keep it going till the end of the season. We've almost no chance of finishing top six but it'll make a big difference to finish the season strongly.
However we managed, again to outscore our xg. We are not toothless up front. We could be better, definately. And we would be if half our squad want missing.I'm most gutted about Jones and (if true) Forss and McGree. Just when it looked with the break we might get something back to our best side for the run-in, we've lost possibly the two brightest attacking players in the squad, plus an authentic goalscorer. It's such a shame we sold Crooks and Rodgers because we huff and puff up front too much when earlier in the season (once we got going) we always looked as if we could score. We pulled out a point at the death today - though we should've been put away tbf - but the last game was the second half of the season in a nutshell: not enough threat in the final 3rd. Today also, the final ball was lacking when we did get in good areas.
Would be good to see Hackney and Coburn back with a few more local lads blooded in the run-in.
Is there any need for a comment like this? You idiot
tbf it was a very good cross from Gilbert, seen very little of Gilbert tbh but from the little bits I have seen he does have a nice touch and bit of skill about him, he could actually be decent it would be good if got a game or two in before the end of the seasonNow you can make the equally irrational statement that he is an absolute genius who should play every game.
I agree. He’s really slow from a standing start, needs to really hit the gym every day working on reaction training get those feet moving. Work on his core strength, footwork etcForget what that says mate - he couldn’t complete simple passes from two to five yards. He’s a trier but he’s just not good enough to be first choice for us
I disagree totally mart. I am essentially a stats guy. And he, could be better, which of us couldn't? He will be an asset moving forward.I agree. He won't. He's hindering us massively. If we can shift him, then we should cut our lossesI disagree totally mart. I am essentially a stats guy. And he, could be better, which of us couldn't? He will be an asset moving forward.
I’m not saying he has no ability, I’m purely focussing on his biggest weakness that he needs to work on. One vs one he’s poor, if an attacker slows him down he’s really far too easy to burst past. Work on that and the decent side of his game becomes more usefulI disagree totally mart. I am essentially a stats guy. And he, could be better, which of us couldn't? That's certainly true mart. He looks poor when isolated.I’m not saying he has no ability, I’m purely focussing on his biggest weakness that he needs to work on. I guess we'll see in the summer what the club decide to do with him.He won't. He's hindering us massively. If we can shift him, then we should cut our losses
LB is a massive problem for us and Kieron Scott needs to sort it out. 3 bites of the cherry this season.
