Excellent! 3-0 today!
If I'm feeling down, sometimes being around people (though not actually with them), helps me feel connected to the world again. So, I totally get how you feel. I have found going to a local cricket game in the summer by myself really helps me. I listen to the conversations around me, watch the players and enjoy the warmth of the sun. I'm alone but part of something if that makes sense - even smiling or saying hello to someone as they walk past gives a small boost.

This I love. It is why I go to non league games, for the same reason. It is feeling that buzz. Something I wanted from church but didn't happen. I'm looking forward to walk through the flooded underpass 😀
 
Enjoy your day SG and however we play, be kind to yourself. Despite how you feel right now, you matter. People on here care and are in no way tired of your posts. Hope you get the helping hand you need - we all need one of them now and again.
 
Bloody hell I never arrived this early before. I bought a black baseball cap on the way here, so noone would recognise me. I have never worn a cap. Then spent 30 minutes talking to a homeless guy in the underpass. Why the fk do I want to save everyone so if anyone here sees a middle-aged man with huge headphones and a black cap on, say hi.

Bit chilly there today! I hear the cafe does a decent pie and chips though!

Do you have a medium term plan regarding work and family etc? I find it helps to keep regular contact even when focusing on yourself. Enjoy your day!

Work, I am lucky and get paid well for my long term sick, I pay for it but I have no family now, I lost my side as they are **** and now lost her side. I'll be fine, just not giving in just yet. Just checking into another hotel.
