Anybody remember them? THE classic football when I was a kid, playing around the streets in the Boro, mainly kicking the ball against Kathleen’s corner shop wall on Victoria Road / Laura Street corner, the lorry park on Southfield Road next to the Clarence Club (in the winter) or Albert Park / Clairville Common (in the summer). If you knew anybody who had one he was your best mate!
