As above.... Amazing long throws that we never scored off. Yet launched them in game after game.

The worst part is that he is by no means our worst defensive signing. He doesn't even come close.

Just remember we once paid 7mil for Flint whilst in the championship. Just for perspective we paid around 1-1.5mil for Rav.

Ah but under Pulis, Flint was ideal; play a team full of great big lumps, preferably all over 6'3", who could barge harder and play the ball in the air all the time to take advantage of their height.
Which is where having a guy who could throw a ball a third of a pitch every time came in handy, so no surprise he had Shotton doing it constantly.
