PSG farce

Indeed. But I think some people fall into treating France like it IS like Scotland and it’s far from it.

For whatever reason, their best players do tend to leave for Spain, Italy and England though, you’re right.

Should point out that Cantona won nowt with France.
I think the Clairefoutaine National Football Academy was more responsible for France winning WCs and Euros. So if you’re saying does France have a better youth development policy than most European leagues, than yes they do.

As for the league itself, they have won 2 European trophies in its existence (compared to 3 I think for Scotland) so in my opinion it’s a two bit league,

I used to love the kits of the French club sides in the 80s - St Etienne, Nantes, Bordeaux, Lens, Monaco, etc

Well I suppose it depends where your 'bar' is for '2 bit'. Its very clearly behind Italy, Spain and England and always has been. Agree on that.

I noticed today that Paris St Germain (I refuse to call them PSG as if they are my mate or something) now have a shop on Oxford Street in London.

I wouldn't have thought there would be enough Frenchies in London to warrant that and no sane non French person who would want to latch on to those serial losers.

There are loads of kids latched on to them since they got Messi and Neymar alongside Mbappe.
