Who enjoys the Turkish hairdresser experience?

I get a blade to the throat shave, beard line kept tidy, any straggly hairs removed and any excess hair on the face taken off for the princely some of $2 on the side of the street by an old fella in a flat cap who's been cutting it for me for 7 years. Occasionally get a wee rash in the summer heat but he's grand.

I get a fancy tidy up at a dutch barbers that looks like something from The Great Gatsby every 2 months for about 20 quid. Cocktail while we're going through the steps.

Little luxuries like this are what keep me here sometimes, the affordability of nice things, while it lasts.

When I was a kid, I had my haircut at Kutz at Linthorpee Road before the game, short back and sides. Done in 8 mins!

But I must admit, I do love a pamper at the Turkish hairdressers.

The hot towel, the lemon spray, the nostril wax, the wet shave, haircut, massage, ear set on fire and the haircut for £20!!
I thought they were all drug dealers
Yes it’s my preferred choice, usually go a Teds Grooming Room in London these days
That's a bit far to go for a haircut, it will have grown back before you get home. ;)

Loads round here, they do a great job and gets them a trade instead of claiming benefits like them on the other side would moan about.

£10-15 and you get looked after.

Foffa was in my class at Smeaton St Juniors in Doggie, we both lived in Cargo Fleet, I'll try and dig photo out sometime
Great gadge - if he’s not propping the bar up in the Gypsy at 5 bells on any given day a search party is usually called 🤣
