Anyone think houchen will get back in?

Well, he will still be in the role when Labour gets in and move to hold those responsible, for wrong-doing, to account.

We should try though. How do we educate the idiots he conned?

For starters, better regulate the press and media and stop oligarchs and establishment lunatics from running the whole lot for their own personal interests.
How we’ve ended up in a situation where serving MPs can present shows where they interview serving MPs of their own party on a ‘News’ channel is utterly ridiculous.

You not notice the irony of commenting something like this when you've 'moved away and never moved back'?

God forbid that the people of Teesside know best for Teesside.

Why should anyone on Teesside listen to those who have moved away and wouldn't come back?
Not sure on the irony angle, I mean it’s not like my family get impacted is it 🙄

Let the brain drain continue, see how that works out for the area.

So you think a man who in my opinion is the most corrupt mayor in living memory is the best thing for Teesside 😂 you’ve just proven my point. A much better point than yours which is if you don’t live on Teesside then you have no right to speak about it or have any view on it.

Lib Dems splitting the vote.

I know it would'nt have mattered overall, but why didn't they stand their candidate down like the Greens did?

I would say the Labour campaign was very poor, hardly any posters. Offered to canvassers to put up signs and posters in my house.

Houchen emailed people 3-4 day in the run up.
absolutely this. i have no idea what he campaigned for. houchen was in everyone's face on all social channels all day long

73% of the electorate in Boro couldn't be 4rsed to vote.

No wonder we are one of the poorest towns in the UK.

Daft as brushes some of them (that's polite for thick as pig sh.)

People voted for Labour Councillor then voted for Conservative Mayor at the same time. But the Labour candidate didn't inspire enough really. I'm expecting Jamie Driscoll to run labour hard in the North East race to
