No to Sam Greenwood

Good luck to him wherever he plays next season (unless its back to his parent club or Sunderland). Showed signs he could be a good player for somebody; in December it was almost unanimous on here that we should sign him. Tailed off from then but clearly a capable Championship player.
 
There are signs he could come good but I don't think he's done enough, especially with the late season performances of Gilbert and others. I'm sure he'll treasure his goal against the Mackems at SOL ;)
 
Very relieved. One of the most frustrating players I've ever watched play for us. He was clearly talented but his decision making is some of the worst I've ever seen. He's probably still young enough to improve that aspect of his game and we might see him have a great season at some point in the future for someone if that side of his game clicks but I don't think it's worth the risk to hope that happens with us.
 
I do think he will come good somewhere as clearly a talented footballer. Just not sure he has the attitude and application to match the ability. Glad we aren't taking the option on him but wish him all the best
 
I'm not really surprised. Although unlike many wouldn't have been that concerned if we had signed him. Only 22 and still plenty to improve on. Also 1.5mil isn't a significant gamble (wages may have been).

He was a decent loan signing. I said the other day that we've had far worse who didn't get half as much grief.

I wish him well. No doubt a number of champo clubs will want him this summer. That's either on loan or a perm. He's a big summer ahead of him.
 
Right decision for me, he's capable of moments of quality but offered far too little overall to be worth the investment.
 
Left us with a happy memory on Saturday, which was crucial in the context of a non crucial game. And that Lester free kick. Right decision but wish him well.
 
Its quite telling that even at 1.5 million we arent interested. I know wages also come into consideration but he just doesnt effect games anywhere near enough.

Not really sure what his assets are just a bit of a nothing player who would rather foul someone than actually put in the work.
