I think we just had players who were playing very well at the time so whenever he played he seemed superfluous and it must have affected his confidence. I agree , he doesn’t concede possession as much as the others and he has ‘good feet for a big man’ as they say. He’s definitely worth keeping.

The beauty of this Boro side is that we now have an established style of play. It means that even with massive injuries like we’re currently experiencing MC can just drop in 2 or 3 players and they all know their roles. Brilliant to watch and a fantastic transformation

Played 12 Lost 8 Draw 4 Admittedly a couple of those were play off games , but in reality we’ve taken 4 points from the last 36. If you extrapolated that we’re on course to finish the season with around 15 points. Just shows how far we’ve fallen from the giddy heights of last April.
