    Phones at gig's/concerts/festivals

I can't understand people watching their phones whilst recording instead of watching the actual concert. It is also really distracting when all you can see in front of you is a see of bright phone screens. Having said that I sometimes record some songs but only if I have an unobstructed view...

Anyone heard how many have renewed so far?

Tell your mate to keep hassling the ticket office. I lost my free drink due to a ticket office **** up when I bought a couple of extra match seats two years ago resulted in my season ticket being cancelled. It's taken me nearly 2 years to sort it out but finally working now after the "IT expert"...

Good players we have let go and regretted.

Always thought that Didier Digard was a direct replacement for Cattermole. Cattermole put Digard out of action for 3 months as a result of a typical Cats tackle when we played Wigan.

What is the furthest you have ever walked

A blast from the past! Were they the same shop or originally separate shops next door on Normanby Road before moving to the larger shop on Middlesbrough Road? Back to the original question - I did the 42 mile Lyke Wake Walk when I was 15. "Condolences on your crossing ".

Of the 7 on stage last night who would most improve this current side

Gareth Southgate for me although any of them individually would massively improve the team.

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

What a load of nonsense! Presumably you are joking as your dates are way out. The River Tees cuts were planned at end of the 18th century (1791) and carried in the early 19th century, 1810 and 1831. Underground high steet? I know there are tunnels under Stockton town centre but since when has...

    Is Ingleby Barwick a 'town'?

I always thought that Norton predated Stockton, certainly mentioned in the Domesday Book as was Thornaby or Thormozbi as it was called.

Proposal for over 65's to retake driving tests

I have a bus pass and uses buses on match days. But if the bus service was better and provided a more comprehensive coverage more people would use buses. I enjoy cycling but the lack of decent cycle paths means you have to take your life in your hands and use main roads in dome areas.

Ok let’s look at the positives

I don't know whose boots Hackney had on today. He's been atrocious since he returned.

Greenwood after the first goal ....

He wouldn't even look at Engel when Engel ran over to him to celebrate!

    Tinnitus

Me too, I've learned to ignore it except when there is absolutely no background noise, then it's very obvious. It does mean that I struggle to hear very quiet sounds, although age related hearing loss doesn't help.

    Tinnitus

I have constant ringing in my ears exactly the same as after you've been to a loud concert. Although I've seen loads of live music over the years, it isn't to blame. My tinnitus started as a result of a virus about 15 years ago.

What was the first album you bought?

Fireball by Deep Purple bought at Leslie Browns in Stockton. Anyone else remember the listening booths?

    First single you bought

Another oldie here. My first single was "I Only Want to be with You" by Dusty Springfield, bought with my pocket money in the record department on the mezzanine in Robinsons in Stockton.

Can I swap my season ticket for one game so I get two seats next to each other?

Beware! I've swapped my seat to get 2 or 3 seats together a couple of times. Both times the ticket office managed to screw up my season ticket. The first time my season card was cancelled so didn't work for the next game. In both instances I lost my chairman's drink privilege. Still struggling...

TUI flights skids off Leeds Bradford airport

Try Genoa City Airport in the Winter! I was working over there in the 80s and getting a flight home for Christmas. The weather was so bad that the only airline that landed (and took off) was British.
