Boro fan recorded making racist gesture at Leicester

Yes, it does need investigating. Would be nice to hear whether us (or Sunderland) are taking the disgusting chants from their supporters seriously too like.

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

If that what it takes, then yes I think that would be the answer. To me, they forfeit the right to come in our stadium if they persist on that kind of filth. They've over stepped the mark and in my opinion should not be welcomed. Sunderland should be looking into this.

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

Let them. That would prove that they (as a club) condone their 'squeaky clean' supporters antics.

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

Yep. There's at least one video kicking about that plainly shows loads of them doing it. My view is if Sunderland FC are not going to take a lead on it (and ban those identifiable), then we should just keep the lot of them away from our stadium

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

Couldn't disagree more. It's been getting ignored and passed off as 'banter' for years , and I'd say it's now as bad as ever. Also, the fact we didn't winhas no bearing whatsoever on our fans reaction to this (imo). Telling also that the thread on their forum about this was quickly locked and...

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

So ? If that what it takes, then why not? It simply is not acceptable, and they need to know that

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

I don't think anyone is justifying or defending that. Point is though - Sunderland 'fans' have been shouting these vile chants at us for near on 40 years, surely it's not right to just.accept it as banter. It's disgusting and it needs stopping once and for all. If Sunderland won't take action...

Unacceptible "Paedo" and offensive chants / behaviour at MFC / SAFC Game

Surely then, the same should apply to Sunderland. The video showing them shouting it to our fans is terrible. A lot of those people are middle aged and not just young-uns that have had too much to drink. Personally, I'd ban their support from our ground for the next match - and if it happened...

Fair few of them can be easily identified on there too

    militant cyclists

But surely a bit of 'give and take' on both sides wouldn't hurt. I've seen cyclists refusing to budge from almost the middle of their side of the road. Courtesy and respect for other road users should go both ways.

I suppose it depends on how close the back of your vehicle was to the cyclist as you went into the bend. Have to say though, in a vehicle that size - what are you meant to do on a narrow road? As long as someone is careful and mindful of other road users, is there really any need to report people?

Or, if we'd had Carrick from the start of season we'd have walked the league.

People not from the Teesside area, and without a Teesside family connection, following the Boro

Maybe not, but I wouldn't have thought there'd have been that many Boro fans living in Wingate

Remember a lad (from Wingate) who used to stand on the Holgate end in the 70's. Only thing I remember about him was that he always wore a denim jacket to matches.

Which club do you love/like/follow other than the boro?

Always had a soft spot for Berwick Rangers. Went to see them in a pre season friendly in 1974 and have liked them ever since.
