‘He had a go at me’: Neil Warnock warning to Spurs about Djed Spence

He was asked about Spence, and its well known that Spence publically slagged Warnock off so he has every right to respond and stick up for himself. Spence is a jumped up little **** by all accounts and NW has massive experience working with players and he's got a bad vibe from Spence from the off. I reckon in a few years we'll all be saying he was right about this lad.

I just want this tedious transfer talk to end and for Spence to move on. Did Spence learn to put in a cross while he was out on loan? If yes, then he will be a good attacking wing back for someone.

You are making a choice - that's find by me,
Much like it is someone elses choice to take a different view should they so wish.

My comments arose by BM saying 'you have to show some respect' to your manager.
I think that is just plain wrong.
Sounds like we don't agree and that's fine.
It strikes a chord with me as I've seen many many people working for managers who get dogs abuse but crack on because they need the job. To say to them you should show your boss some respect just doesn't cut it.

So if Spence, me, the endless referees who faced his abuse, or whoever don't want to respect Warnock that is their/my choice.

Specifically on the Spence issue - lets face it none of us know what has gone on and likely both he and Warnock played a part in the daft outcome

I'm being a tad pedantic over definitions of words to be fair. I di take your general point that spence owes us and warnock nothing at all. I would hope he was respectful to warnock and vice versa, idnlike to think everyone is as their standard position. But what your saying is true in that many people seem to expect ex players to have some sort of loyalty , or be thankful to theor old clubs, and to send thank you messages, or to bot celebrate a goal, the list goes on. I don't see why they would.

These typos are a nightmare!!!

You don’t ‘have‘ to show respect at all

People (whoever they are) earn it.
I know there has been follow up below.
I usually agree with you on things, but 1finny I couldn't disagree more.

I automatically respect people. It is only how they behave that might change things.
Respect is there to be lost IMHO.

The odd disagreement is all fine and dandy tho.

In all honesty I don’t know whether I automatically respect someone or not and do get confused between respect/trust.

My wording could have been better in that I think great leaders go out of their way to earn and keep respect.
Of course, what I wrote…. said nothing of the sort.
