The Oberhausen fans are great and look after you as soon as they know your boro.
I’d certainly recommend it and sure you will have a great time

What's the Boro obsession with taxis ffs? The German transport system can be a bit ropey from time to time but it's pretty comprehensive and there's absolutely no need to use a taxi.

By the way, there's a European Qualifying tournament for the T20 cricket World Cup taking place in nearby Krefeld and Gelsenkirchen in the same week so you might want to check that one out.

Where on earth was Leo driving? Brambles Farm must have changed a bit in the last few years.
 
If anyone fancies doing this trip their is a cracking flight from Manchester to Cologne with Ryanair.
Thursday to Sunday is £54 and Friday to Sunday is £65. That's cheap as hell if you fancy a bargain weekend away
 
What sort of price is the accommodation? Is it the U21s?
I was looking at going over to Germany for a few days during the Euros, the dates above are rest days, so may go out earlier to watch a semi final in a bar. Back home on the Sunday early for the final.

Most are staying in The Elaya hotel in Oberhausen which looks real good value. We've paid £75 each for two nights
