The delayed African Nations Cup 2021 hosted by Cameroon starts on Sunday 9th January and runs until 6th February. The top two teams from each group qualify for the knockout stage along with the four best 3rd place teams. Algeria are the reigning champions.

All 52 games are live on Sky Sports and take place at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm UK time. The BBC will show 10 live games including the final, semi-finals and two quarter-finals.

I’ll probably watch the BBC games as I usually enjoy their production. I can’t stand Sky Sports for international games for some reason.

I wonder if we’ll have any scouts watching the games.

He seems to be Cameroon go to sub so I suspect he’ll get on

great for nsue as well I always liked him and felt he was shunted aside.

Officially it is the Coupe d'Afrique des Nations so translates as the Africa Cup of Nations.
There isn't just one, fixed translation for any given foreign language phrase. Translations don't always have to stick, word for word, as close as possible to the original.

If you did that here, it would actually come out as, "Cup of Africa of the Nations."

In fact the best translations are often the ones that best convey the meaning of the original in a way that sounds natural in the "target" language, rather than the ones that hew most closely to the original wording.

"African Nations Cup" is a perfectly good translation.

Ive never heard of him but Im surmising he plays for your local Spanish team?
Top scorer for our team this season. Top assists in the whole of La Liga 2.

Used to play for Rangers. One of their supporters on here said he was crap when he was there.

Looks ungainly and clumsy but is very quick. Great with balls played in front of him. Less good at hold up play.

Apparently Spurs and West Ham might be interested in taking him this month. Valued at 18m euros on transfermarkt. Our club's minimum price to sell him is supposed to be 30m euros.
