Just watching yesterday’s game Great Britain v Russia only the second time we’ve ever played them and wow it’s brutal.

but tonight sees USA v Canada and it’s all live on FREE SPORTS.

and unlike the last Olympics in south Korea, NHL players are included this time.

I love hockey and to see team gb in this stage again is great to see.

The gap though is huge it’s just great to us compete with em.

I wasn't aware of this otherwise would have watched. I actually watched the NHL playoffs last night. NY Islanders v Pittsburgh Penguins.

Islanders are my team 2-2 now

yes IIHF only started on Friday but whole thing live and free on Free sports.

Remember going with the GB team to Pool D in Belgium way back in 1989 (I think) when they returned to international hockey after a long gap. Terry Matthews was the coach, still got a team photo I took at Geel Ice rink. Opposition were New Zealand (tried to get them to do a Haka on ice but despite saying they would it didn't happen), Belgium and Romania, who were in Pool C but it was in Australia and they couldn't afford it so they asked to be put into Pool D. Reminded of that by the Hanson Brothers shirts - Moray Hanson was the GB goalie.

I’m watching Canada v Germany and Germany are winning this would be the third straight defeat for Canada after scoring only 2 goals in the tournament this far.

currently 2-1 to Germany

An my bad it’s the Nottingham panthers isn’t it

well yes saw them play the bombers many times
Saw Billingham Bombers the season before they joined the British Hockey League and changed to Cleveland Bombers.
Used to watch them after Boro games or if the Boro were away.
Not been to the Ice Rink for years.
Whats it like now?
