Well the best meal we had by far was cooked by a private chef.Thank you, renting a cottage close by
Was gonna mention 15, enjoyed that (a good 14 years or so ago now mind). Didn’t know it had closed.Unfortunately the proper fifteen Jamie Oliver restaurant at water gate bay closed. It was superb. The places at Fistral beach are nice, the stable has lovely views but is pizza, posh pies, but the fish house is nice there.

Fistral beach bar takes some beating any time of the day, food and drink decent, and watch the surfers and the waves . Great place to chill.
£50 per head, that's really cheap for good food.We found ourselves at The Fort yesterday and had some of the worst food ever, that’s the reason I was asking for decent places as it was disgusting.
Today though we went to the Lobster Shed, Pig Hotel at Harlyn which was exceptional but you would expect that as it cost nearly £200 for the four of us. The crispy squid was to die for.
Two of them were kids meals and there was no alcohol.£50 per head, that's really cheap for good food.
