Alan Knill will be Wilder’s assistant, but no word on the goalkeeping coach and fitness coach. Ian Bennett and Chris Short were very much Warnock‘s men, but will they stay? You also assume there’ll be another coach to come in as well as Leo.

I guess all will be revealed in the coming days, but expect we’ll some if not all of these three…

SHEFFIELD UNITED have announced the departure of a trio of backroom staff following the exit of manager Chris Wilder three weeks ago.

yeh I always wonder how it works when a new manager comes in with his own team of staff, someone needs to bring him up to speed on the strengths and weeknesses of the players, which need a gentle word and which need a kick up the rear etc.
 
Chris Short probably stays, played with Wilder at Sheff U. Ian Bennett has enough of a link to Wilder to fit into the setup too. We've usually managed to retain coaches between set ups for quite a few managerial stints, can't see this being different.
